CALIMANESTI-CACIULATA SPA RESORT

When the Olt River gets out from the narrow pass at Cozia, the tourist comes across the Calimanesti-Caciulata Spa wih salty, hypertone, chloro-sodic, iodate, bromate, suphured, magnesian mineral waters recommended for a wide range of diseases.

The spa turns the special landscape and the mineral waters to best account.

Accommoation -consists of hotel centers Caciulata***, Cozia**, Oltul**, Central*, Traian*, vllas and campings sites.

The sulphur, chloride, bromate, calcic waters are recommended for digestive, enal , uological and rheumatic diseases.

Threatment includes internal cures with mineral water, mineral or herbal baths equipment, therapeuthic mudpacks and medical gyms.

The mineral springs are cold – Calimanesti Caciulata 1 and 2,

mezothermal –Bivolari 1 and 2

thermal - Cozia 1

The most concentrated water for internal cures is Spring No.6.

The use of such waters has a long history, being used since the time of Dacians and the Romans –Arutela Thermal Bahs. The main spring , Caciulata 1 was rediscoered in 1830.
