Located on the Constanta- Varna E87 European highway, 45km south of Constanta, the sothernmost of the mjor Black Sea resorts, Mangalia has 250 meter wide beahes with especially fine sand and modern accmmodation facilities, such as the President****, Mangalia***, Atlas*** and Astra*** hotels.

The President Hotel hosts the Black Sea Romanian Business Center, which organized internatinal events, while Mangalia Hotel wit its own treatment facilities has 268 rooms. Both hotels are open throughout the year.

South of Mangalia, the resorts of 2 Mai 14 km and Vama Veche 18 km withwide beaches are usally visited by the youth.
