SOVATA SPA RESORT

Sovata issituated in central Transylvania in the area of the volcanic Gurghiu Mountains, 60km from Targu Mures. THis resort has becomefamous owing to the natural and therapeutic values of the salty heliothermal waters of Lake Ursu.

Worth mentioing about Ursu Lake is that it’s a unique natural phenomenon in Europe-the temperature of the lake waters rises rapidly as its depth increases:at 1m thee are 30-40°C, at 1,5 m there are 40-50°C,and at 2 meters the temperature may reach 60 degrees.
